THELUXLAB, a major player in the field of engineering, study and execution of architectural and innovative façades, is seeking to strengthen the team by immediately welcoming or agreeing within the structure based in Luxembourg the "Head of the Façade Testing Laboratory".

In this position as the Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and management of the façade performance tests.

 

The position:

• Preparation and management of façade performance tests: Air-Water-Wind, Acoustics, Thermal, etc.

• Planning and management of the tests in collaboration with the logistic department in charge of the preparation and assembling the supports receiving the facades to be tested.

• Drafting of the test procedures based on the standards and specifications

• Conducting tests on various laboratory facilities

• Writing, interpretation and management of test reports and CE markings following the tests performed.

• Programming and management of maintenance and calibration of test equipment

• Communication with the "Notified Bodies" and "Control Offices" during the tests

• Team management.

 

Skills:

• Engineering degree or equivalent

• An experience of 5 to 10 years in the construction sector and preferably in the façade or metal construction sector.

• Good knowledges in Office Suite and Autocad software will be a definite asset

• Good ability to work in a team in a multicultural environment

• Knowledge of English and French ​​as well as knowledge of industrial design is a real advantage for this position
